The typical perception of homophobic and transphobic hate crimes lies in the belief that bad things can only happen in "the Wild East". Nevertheless, the hate crime rate is rising in almost all Europe, but this information can be easily overlooked, being lost in official reports
The project grew from a personal experience - the hate crime committed against the artist in Brussels. Taking a step aside from that particular incident, using open data and found photos as a main source of information, the project talks about increasing levels of hate crimes, their "invisibility" and lack of an urgency in action.
