This series of images was made in collaboration with my parents in our apartment in Kyiv, Ukraine.
This project started in summer 2019. Since my relocation to Amsterdam, the bond between us has weakened. I decided to make a series of playful, staged pictures, using an old point-and-shoot camera, and props and clothing I found at home. In such a way I wanted to reconnect them, introduce them to my life and create new memories and experiences. For a few pictures, I let my parents take photographs in which I also appeared as a model.
